Bumblebee
I have never seen this before, but this tree was swarming with bumblebees.
Every flower had been occupied by a busy bumblebee.
Fun fact - It is believed that: "In terms of aerodynamics a bumblebee can not fly. But the bumblebee does not know about it and therefore flies.

Wall Street
Today, in a Wall Street news:
LaRouche activists are proposing to impeach Barack Obama and portray him with a Hitler like mustache.

Coney Island
It was early in the morning, and the sun wasn't that hot yet.
Me and my wife walked on to Coney Island boardwalk.
All the stores were still closed and we could see beautiful painting on the storefront.
A pigeon was checking the water - still too wet
Other pigeons taking a bath in a nearby puddle
A guy was warming up to play his trumpet
As we were leaving the boardwalk, people just started to arrive to the beach, already dressed in bathing suits and carrying towels and umbrellas. It was nice sunny day.
Love the summer.

New Yrok Aquarium
On my son's 6th birthday, we went to New York Aquarium, in Brooklyn NY.
We saw a lot of fish, corals and their inhabitants at Glover's reef.
An alien stingers featured a variety of jellyfish, that looked like not from this world.
Sea Cliff had walruses, otters, penguins, whom you can watch from above and then go downstairs to get an underwater perspective.
Sharks exhibitions had sharks, stingrays and giant sea turtles.
There was also a place where you could pet a horseshoe crab or a starfish.
It started as a very hot day, that changed to a rainy one.
Due to the rain and mostly thunders, sea lion show/feeding was canceled.
Their Planet Earth: Shallow Seas 4-D Experience - had experienced air conditioner malfunction, so we got an open tickets till the end of this year to come back.
And some pictures...

Wall Street cats and dogs
Wall Street presents two dogs, two cats and what looks like guinea pig.
Dogs are on a guard, letting know every passing dog not to disturb the sleep their furry friends. Cats, ignorant to everything and to everybody, enjoy their nap.

Trust, but verify
Recently, I had to get to Bloomingdale's in SoHo area in Manhattan.
I got my iPhone, started Google Maps, and typed "Bloomingdales".
So far, so good. It found couple locations in the vicinity and one of them is correctly listed as 504 Broadway, New York.
However, when zooming in to get street intersection, I found that something was wrong:
It's pointed to NoHo area, and not even Broadway.
Luckily I knew that it was a wrong location, and did not walk there (it would have taken me 1/2 mile off course).
Bing.com was more accurate in displaying the same address.
Typing the exact address to Google maps, finally gave me the correct location.
All well, that ends well - I got to my destination.
It shows once again, that one must not blindly trust the technology, because somewhere, someone might have made a mistake, and that mistake would translate into lost time or some unpleasant situation.
As Ronald Reagan used to say: Trust, but verify.
